Obedience / House Manners

​

Obedience is the foundation and building block to our dog training programs.  There is nothing more enjoyable than a dog that wants to be obedient and please us.  This is not only important for hunting dogs, but our family companions as well.

 

In our Obedience and House Manners program dogs learn to part of the family.  They learn place training (staying on a dog bed), how to kennel, walking on a loose leash, walking off leash, sit, lay, stay, and how to greet people.  We work to curb behaviors such as jumping up on people, table surfing and begging.  We work to grow an all-around enjoyable companion for any home situation.  We also train special requests based on owner's desires.

While at Elite Versatility for Obedience and House Manners training your dog will go on routine walks, runs, bike rides and social outings to sporting events and a variety of stores.  We expose dogs to a variety of different settings to help build their confidence and trust and we expect the same level of obedience that we see inside a home to make a well-rounded, reliable family companion.  Contact us for availability.
